Beginning Jungian studies as a child as her father underwent Jungian treatment at home for Complex PTSD and WWII trauma as a US Navy Diver at Pearl Harbor in WWII, Penelope continues to explore the Mystery of Self, Ego-Self Axis, Nature, and creativity. Mother of two adult sons, who are both scientists, one in medicine and one in technology. An artist, a poet, publisher and writer, and Jungian analyst since the late 1970s, she continues to learn – currently as part of the www.AWE.ngo international program that explores and supports Indigenous wisdom practices. She is drawn to the exploration of the mysteries and initiations, especially of childbirth and death. Committed to honor the sacred, Penelope keeps head bowed, heart open, and hence is constantly close to tears, laughter, and awe as we walk and dance this continual surprisingly creative life together.
