Résumé : Nul ne peut trouver la route qu’il n’ait lui-même dirigé son chemin.
Thème : Nous proposons une étude comparative des versions du mythe du Graal et en particulier les particularités de la version de Wolfram von Eschenbach qui a servi à Wagner pour élaborer le livret de son opéra. L’analyse symbolique de chaque version permettra découvrir trois directions du processus d’individuation que ce mythe révèle. Puis nous présenterons le contexte de la composition de l’opéra dans la vie de Wagner et dans son époque. Nous aborderons les trois actes en faisant lire en dialogue certains passages du livret par quelques participants répartis selon les rôles. À chaque fois, ce passage sera suivi de l’extrait musical correspondant, puis analysé en relation avec la situation psychique de Wagner et celle du christianisme en perte de vitesse de son époque, à la lumière des éléments d’analyse jungiens, et des questionnements de Schopenhauer et de Nietzsche dont Wagner était familier.

Summary: No one can find the road that he himself has not directed his way.
Theme: We propose a comparative study of the versions of the myth of the Grail and in particular the particularities of the version of Wolfram von Eschenbach which was used by Wagner to elaborate the libretto of his opera. The symbolic analysis of each version will make it possible to discover three directions of the process of individuation that this myth reveals. Then we will present the context of the composition of the opera in the life of Wagner and in his time. We will approach the three acts by having certain passages of the libretto read in dialogue by a few participants divided according to role. Each time, this passage will be followed by the corresponding musical extract, then analyzed in relation to the psychic situation of Wagner and that of the declining Christianity of his time, in the light of the elements of Jungian analysis, and the questions of Schopenhauer and Nietzsche with whom Wagner was familiar.
