Quería recordarles que nuestra reunión de abril tendrá lugar este domingo. Como siempre, dedicaremos una hora a la matriz de sueños, tomaremos un descanso breve y después Vala Kierbel presentará su texto llamado Lesbian-south resonances of Jungian psychology: A guardian practice of embodied imagination, que también presentó recientemente para Thiasos (quizá vieron la invitación que mandó hace unos meses Camila Ribeiro). Esta sesión me emociona personalmente mucho, ya que implica hacerle espacio en nuestro grupo a una perspectiva del sur global, así como construir puentes con las personas del grupo cuya lengua nativa es el español (el texto de Vala estaba originalmente en español y yo colaboré con ella para traducirlo al inglés). Espero que en el futuro podamos construir puentes en más direcciones geopolíticas y con otras lenguas, a través de quien quiera ofrecerse como voluntarix en el grupo.
April meeting will take place this Sunday. As always, we will devote an hour to the dream matrix, take a quick break and then Vala Kierbel will be presenting her paper entitled Lesbian-south resonances of Jungian psychology: A guardian practice of embodied imagination, which she recently also presented for Thiasos (you may have seen an invitation that was sent by email some months ago by Camila Ribeiro). This personally excites me very much, as it implies making space in our group for a perspective from the global South, as well as building bridges with those of us in the group whose native tongue is Spanish (Vala’s text was originally in Spanish and I collaborated with her to translate it to English). I hope that we will be able to build more bridges in other geopolitical directions and with other tongues in the future, via whoever feels like volunteering to do so.
