Vitor Pordeus, 42 years old, is an actor and physician. Graduated in Medicine from UFF in 2005. Researcher at the Immunobiology Laboratory of the Federal University of Minas Gerais since 2003 He was Associate Professor in Immunology of Autoimmune Diseases funded by the Autoimmune Diseases Center at Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel. Graduated in Theater at the Tá Na Rua Institute for Arts, Education and Citizenship (2006-2007); founded in 2008 the TupiNago Laboratory of Instituto Arte e Ciência , was Coordinator – Founder of the Nucleus of Culture Science and Health of the Municipal Nise da Silveira , former Pedro II Psychiatric Center , Engenho de Dentro , Municipal Health Department – City Hall of Rio de Janeiro ( 2009-2016); Founder of Teatro de DyoNises (2011), Hotel and Spado da Loucura (2012) and Popular University of Art and Science (2010) in Rio de Janeiro; Guest Speaker at the Advanced Seminar on Aesthetics and Psychiatry and Member of the Center for Values - Based Practice in Health Social Care St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, UK; He is currently Guest Professor of the “Art and Healing” Course at the Division of Social and Transcultural Psychiatry at McGill University, Montreal, Canada since 2015. He was a speaker at the UltraSanity symposium at the opening of the 58th opening of the Venice Art Biennale, Italy (2019). Speaker at the Re-Imagine symposium at Hamlet Castle in Helsingor, Denmark (2019). He lives and works in Rio de Janeiro as a cross-cultural community psychiatrist and actor.
