This study is dedicated to the symbolic analysis of the quality of life of patients with Fibromyalgia Syndrome in relation to psychological distress and chronic pain to which they are submitted. As it is organic pain, pharmacological and multiprofessional treatments have to be adopted. Diffuse myofascial disease is a disorder that presents changes in the neurotransmitters responsible for the pain modulation mechanism, causing sleep disturbance and strong muscle pain, among others. It manifests itself primarily in women, at a productive age and is accompanied by intense suffering with serious damage to the lives of these women. This complex disease of today is evaluated from the point of view of Jungian psychology by the method of amplification, mythical and alchemical, from the thought of Antiquity, when the world of Aedo Hesiod was sacred. We return to look at this suffering from the angle of the tragic myth Prometheus of Aeschylus, and from there, analyze it as an archetypal manifestation elaborated according to analytical psychology.
