The Jungian community promises exceptional gatherings in 2026, that span clinical innovation, professional development, technological transformation, and social engagement.
From 4-7 June, the Central European Conference on Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Analysis, will explore the theme “Inner Bridges: Analytical Work with Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults.” Using the bridge as its central symbol, the conference focuses on the concept of the “solid container”—examining how analysts can manage to tolerate and contain the uncontainable when working with wounded psyches, destructive forces, shadow aspects, and trauma recurrence. Colleagues wishing to present clinical papers should submit their title and abstract of 200-250 words by January 31, 2026 to centraleuropeanconference2026@gmail.com.
In Copenhagen, the IAAP will host “Becoming a Jungian Analyst: Reflections on Practice, Training and Research,” from 26 to 28 June. This conference is dedicated to exploring the journey of becoming a Jungian analyst as a path intertwining rigorous training, clinical practice, and ongoing pursuit of research and self-knowledge. Meeting in a city known for its spirit of openness, creativity, and cultural depth, the conference will bring together analysts, candidates, and scholars to examine how training fosters both professional competence and inner transformation, and how research contributes to deeper understanding of the analytic process. More information will follow in the new year.
On August 27, 2026, the International Association for Jungian Studies and the IAAP will jointly present “Digitalization and Analytical Psychology” at University College London. This conference broadens the Jungian, post-Jungian, and interdisciplinary focus to reflect on digitalization’s multifaceted nature, including artificial intelligence and online gaming. Building on two decades of analytical psychology’s reflection on therapeutic aspects of digitalization and recent publications emerging from the Covid-19 pandemic’s forced adoption of online modalities, the conference addresses crucial questions: How can analytical psychology continue its therapeutic endeavor in radically different settings? How does digitalization impact the therapeutic contract and relationship? What are the unconscious meanings of digitalization? Those wishing to present should note the call for papers deadline of December 7, 2025, and contact iajswelcome@gmail.com.
The year concludes with the 7th Analysis and Activism conference, taking place October 30-November 1, 2026 in Mexico City—the first time this important gathering will be held in Latin America. The theme “Transcending Divisions: Borders, Identity, and the Rekindling of Our Shared Humanity” directly responds to the global resurgence of authoritarianism, hardened borders, nativism, anti-immigrant policies, and an overall sense of collective devolution. Following Jung, Hillman, Anzaldúa, and others, the conference seeks presentations exploring borders both inner and outer, the borderland as literal and figurative state, the site of trauma and resilience, and reflections on how hardened borders affect identity and how themes of division and exclusion have influenced the world. The call for papers deadline is December 31, 2025, with inquiries to info@analysisandactivism.org.
