Because of its misguided characterization as “mystical” or “spiritual,” analytical psychology has for decades been relegated by most clinicians to the margins of mainstream clinical practice. Yet few clinicians have actually encountered and studied Jung’s theory and concepts in enough depth to truly make an informed decision about their clinical viability.
