The Ukrainian Development Group IAAP was established for the purpose of professional development of psychologists and psychotherapists and organization of training in analytical psychology according to international standards. Analytical psychology originated in the works of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961). Offering a comprehensive model of the human psyche, analytical psychology includes a psychotherapeutic approach to improving mental health and facilitating the maturation of personality, as well as a theoretical set of knowledge with the possibility of wide application to social and cultural issues.

The Ukrainian Development Group IAAP has an institute of associate membership for those who seek to develop in analytical psychology to grow in a conscious understanding of psychological reality in themselves and society, seek healing and meaning in life, achieve greater depth in their relationships and build lives according to found a sense of purpose.
