The Austrian Working Group for Analytical Psychology according to CG Jung was founded in 1980.
In 1983 the name was changed to “Österreichische Gesellschaft für Analytische Psychologie” (ÖGAP), Austrian Society for Analytical Psychology, and was included as a group member in the IAAP (International Association for Analytical Psychology), enabling ÖGAP to train prospective therapists.
Public lectures, lectures at universities and introductory and adult education institutions, as well as a training curriculum in accordance with the Austrian Psychotherapy Act. Congresses in cooperation with CG Jung societies in neighboring countries, cooperation between speakers and supervisors on an international level, jointly edited specialist journal.
Gründung der “Österreichischen Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Analytische Psychologie nach C.G. Jung” (1980).
1983 Änderung des Namens in “Österreichische Gesellschaft für Analytische Psychologie” (ÖGAP) und Aufnahme als Ländergruppe in die IGAP (Internationale Gesellschaft für Analytische Psychologie). Damit Berechtigung zur Ausbildung angehender TherapeutInnen.
Öffentliche Vorträge, Vorlesungen an Universitäten und Propädeutika- und Erwachsenenbildungseinrichtungen, sowie Ausbildungscurriculum gemäß dem Österreichischen Psychotherapiegesetz. Kongresse in Zusammenarbeit mit C.G. Jung-Gesellschaften der Nachbarländer, Zusammenarbeit von ReferentInnen und SupervisorInnen auf internationaler Ebene, gemeinsam editierte Fachzeitschrift.
