This lecture will examine the fairy tale “The Water of Life” from an archetypal perspective and explore what it teaches us about the human psyche. We will look at the main motifs and symbols and follow the development which the Self initiates. The flow of images and symbols show us some of the typical challenges which we meet in the process of individuation.
