Florent Serina é historiador, doutor em literatura pela Universidade de Lausanne, onde leciona epistemologia e história da psicologia, e pesquisador associado do Institut des Humanités en Médecine (CHUV). A sua investigação centra-se na história social, cultural e política das ciências da psique na Europa (psicologia, psiquiatria, psicanálise). É autor de C. G. Jung en France: rencontres, passions et controverses (Les Belles Lettres, 2021), dedicado à história da psicologia analítica na Europa francófona no século XX. Além de numerosos artigos em francês e inglês, ele editou recentemente um volume que reúne as cinquenta resenhas que Jung dedicou aos eventos atuais da psicologia francesa e suíça francófona entre 1907 e 1909 para periódicos de língua alemã, sob o título Comptes rendus critiques de la psychologie francophone (edição bilingue franco-alemã, BHMS, 2020), bem como a obra inacabada e até então inédita de Pierre Janet, Les formes de la croyance, em colaboração com Stéphane Gumpper (Les Belles Lettres, 2021). C. G. Jung in France, from Pierre Janet to Jacques Lacan
Florent Serina is a historian, holds a doctorate in literature from the University of Lausanne, where he teaches epistemology and the history of psychology, and is an associate researcher at the Institut des Humanités en Médecine (CHUV). His research focuses on the social, cultural and political history of the sciences of the psyche in Europe (psychology, psychiatry, psychoanalysis). He is the author of C. G. Jung en France : rencontres, passions et controverses (Les Belles Lettres, 2021), devoted to the history of analytical psychology in French-speaking Europe in the 20th century. In addition to numerous articles in French and English, he has recently edited a volume that brings together the fifty reviews that Jung devoted to current events in French and French-speaking Swiss psychology between 1907 and 1909 for German-language journals, under the title Comptes rendus critiques de la psychologie francophone (bilingual French-German edition, BHMS, 2020), as well as Pierre Janet’s unfinished and hitherto unpublished work, Les formes de la croyance, in collaboration with Stéphane Gumpper (Les Belles Lettres, 2021). He is also co-editor of the journal Phanês. Journal for Jung History.
