Desire, Confusion, and Transformation

Through the study of three fairy tales and a brief active imagination exercise we discover powerful archetypal symbols that help us untangle our moments of confusion and frustration.

When we do not know what we desire, or we cannot understand its powerful effects on us, we become confused and psychically dismembered. Through these three fairy tales, we can discover powerful archetypal symbols that help us untangle our moments of confusion and frustration. We will explore several alchemical symbols, including the alchemical round of transformation, to illustrate how the psyche can re-member and reconstitute itself. The psyche's ability for transformation is a powerful -yet it is also dangerous force if left unattended. A brief active imagination exercise will help integrate the contents.
