Emma Jung: What shaped her life? A workshop Bonnie Damron
Today, we shall revisit several places in Emma Jung’s biography where destiny emerged to shape her life. For example, her relationship with her father during her childhood, her remarkable response to Chretien de Troyes’ Perceval, or the Story of the Grail during her adolescence, and her confrontation with her husband early in her marriage.
Following the good advice from Dr. Michael Conforti, we shall ask, “What shapes a life?” We shall go slow, go simple, go natural, and go deep -- even if we cover only some of the material that is available. For ultimately, the purpose of this work is for each of us to deepen our perspective, not only about the life of Emma Jung, but of our understanding of what shapes our lives and our destinies.
