14h30 – Conférence par Chantal Delacotte : « Merlin et le féminin dans le cycle du Graal »
« Merlin a disparu de la vie dans les bras d’une femme. C’est une légende que Jung a souvent citée qui veut dire qu’il s’est occupé du problème de l’anima, du féminin », disait Marie-Louise von Franz à Claude Mettra sur France Culture, en 1978.
Merlin est « un homme à femmes » assurément… De sa tendre mère à sa passion pour la fée Viviane, Merlin a rencontré moult personnages féminins au cours de ses aventures ; chaque rencontre de l’Enchanteur est pour nous l’occasion de visiter la richesse des images animant l’archétype du féminin en nos imaginaires !
16h30 – Atelier par Nathalie Champougny : « Réveiller l’Esprit de Merlin en nous »
En se soutenant du processus de l’Imagination Active qui comprend aussi art et intelligence instinctive du corps, nous prolongerons cette visite extérieure par une visite intérieure de ce mythe en nous. C’est s’ouvrir à notre magicien enchanteur et le laisser s’exprimer de différentes façons.
Vendredi 27 mai
9h30 – Visite par Morrigan Hesnault-Frémaux : « Le Chemin de la Coupe »
Partir sur les traces de Merlin en forêt de Brocéliande. Marchant dans les pas des Chevaliers de la Table Ronde, dans leur quête initiatique à la recherche de l’élévation et de la conscience, nous irons à la rencontre du Sage fou ou du Fou sage à la Fontaine de Barenton.
Dans ce lieu où se mêlent légendes et Histoire, nous pourrons faire l’expérience du mythe et comprendre comment, pour les Anciens, le magique et le quotidien s’entremêlaient.
11h30 – Visite par Jean-François Le Dû : « L’église du Graal »
En 1942, l’abbé Gillard est nommé recteur de Tréhorenteuc, petit village isolé. Les habitants se sont détournés de la foi, l’église tombe en ruine… Quel triste paysage pour l’abbé ! Mais il est un original : il est convaincu que les religions partagent toutes la même foi ! Et quand il découvre la force des légendes en Brocéliande, il décide de transformer son église pour mettre en valeur l’évangile à travers le mythe du Graal …
14h30 – Atelier par Nathalie Champougny et Nathalie Galland :« Danse archétypale contée »
Expérimenter les différentes énergies de Merlin par un processus à vivre dans le corps, à son rythme en étant accompagné par musique et guidance.
Merlin, l’enfant magique ; Merlin, le jeune prophète ; Merlin, le conseiller des rois ; Merlin, l’homme sauvage ; Merlin, le guide ; Merlin, l’amoureux… autant de facettes que nous allons incarner pour ainsi reconnaître ce qui opère en nous.
20h30 – Concert par le groupe de musiciens : Les Derniers Trouvères
Les Derniers Trouvères chantent l’imagerie et la pensée celte et médiévale, en français actuel, sur des mélodies médiévales ou composées dans l’esprit, afin de transmettre aux auditeurs toute la richesse et la puissance de ces époques d’une manière simple et vivante.
Samedi 28 mai
9h00 – Visite par Nicolas Frémaux : « L’Homme en le Jardin, le Jardin en l’Homme »
Chemin faisant, nous partirons explorer Brocéliande, mythique forêt, image et reflet de notre propre inconscient. Nous y découvrirons des évocations des jardins du Moyen-Âge. Tels des mandalas, ces jardins étaient agencés selon une symbolique précise, où l’omniprésence des quatre éléments, les nombres et la géométrie, images de perfectionnement, sinon de perfection, rappelaient comme des mémoires ancestrales, la place de l’Homme dans l’univers.
Tel un lien au-delà de l’espace et du temps, en véritable Table d’Émeraude, le jardin médiéval reflète et illustre la nostalgie d’un paradis à retrouver et à mettre en œuvre ici-bas.
14h00 – Conférence-atelier par Marie-Claire Dolghin-Loyer : « Les voyages initiatiques de Perceval, ou comment partir de chez soi pour se trouver et découvrir l’inconnaissable. »
Les contes, comme les récits traditionnels et les romans, mettent en scène des héros qui quittent la sécurité de leur environnement pour une quête, des aventures, des découvertes, dont le sens s’avère « initiatique ». Le terme nous parle de commencement. Il faut comprendre surtout la fin d’un précédent parcours pour en ouvrir un nouveau et y découvrir forces et ressources pour le déroulement de la nouvelle vie qui s’offre au sujet. Avec quelles armes, quelles connaissances peut-il aborder ce que le futur lui offrira peut-être, s’il est capable de l’affronter ? Vivre c’est à tout moment quitter un passé révolu pour aborder l’inconnu de l’a-venir. Ceci n’est pas sans occasionner des épreuves. L’abandon des sécurités anciennes, l’angoisse et le désarroi de l’inconnu des premiers pas. Il faut subir les errances et rencontrer sur le chemin les aides qu’il faut savoir écouter. Les conseils qu’il faut savoir appliquer. Les réponses, les remèdes, les trésors qu’il faut savoir découvrir et apprécier à leur juste valeur. Les mystères qui confrontent avec l’inconcevable et l’incertitude. Comme le dit Jung la voie initiatique est antique et intemporelle et le processus d’individuation est une voie.
20h30 – Conférence par Marielle Garel : « Myrddin-Merlin, ou le couple gémellaire adelphique. »
Dans la langue galloise, Merlin, se nomme Myrddin qui a une sœur jumelle Gwendydd. Dans la quête du Graal, Merlin est envoûté par Viviane (projection de l’âme sœur). Il tombe amoureux de Viviane, la fée des ondes… Merlin (Mercure, le trikster, le génie à double face), cet homme des bois, ce magicien, ce prophète tombe sous l’emprise de Viviane (son alter égo féminin – anima). Il lui livre tous ses secrets. Elle l’enferme selon les légendes dans un château, dans une grotte… C’est le récit du château que je reprends, dans sa réalité le Château de Comper en forêt de Brocéliande, qui se reflète dans le lac de Viviane, la Dame au lac…. Cette intervention (voire article) étayée selon les concepts jungiens… Anima-Animus…

“Merlin disappeared from life in the arms of a woman. It is a legend that Jung often quoted which means that he dealt with the problem of the anima, of the feminine”, said Marie-Louise von Franz to Claude Mettra on France Culture, in 1978. Merlin is certainly “a ladies’ man”… From his tender mother to his passion for the fairy Viviane, Merlin has met many female characters during his adventures; each meeting of the Enchanter is an opportunity for us to visit the wealth of images animating the archetype of the feminine in our imaginations!
4:30 p.m. – Workshop by Nathalie Champougny: “Awakening the Spirit of Merlin in us”
Supported by the process of Active Imagination, which also includes art and the instinctive intelligence of the body, we continue this exterior visit with an interior visit of this myth within us. It’s opening up to our enchanting magician and letting him express himself in different ways.

Follow in Merlin’s footsteps in the Brocéliande forest. Following in the footsteps of the Knights of the Round Table, in their initiatory quest in search of elevation and consciousness, we will meet the Wise Man or the Wise Man at the Fountain of Barenton. In this place where legends and history mingle, we will be able to experience the myth and understand how, for the Ancients, magic and everyday life were intertwined.
11:30 a.m. – Visit by Jean-François Le Dû: “The Church of the Grail”
In 1942, Father Gillard was appointed rector of Tréhorenteuc, a small isolated village. The inhabitants have turned away from the faith, the church is falling into ruin… What a sad landscape for the abbot! But he is an original: he is convinced that all religions share the same faith! And when he discovers the power of legends in Brocéliande, he decides to transform his church to highlight the gospel through the myth of the Grail…

Experience the different energies of Merlin through a process to live in the body, at your own pace, accompanied by music and guidance. Merlin, the magical child; Merlin, the young prophet; Merlin, the counselor of kings; Merlin, the wild man; Merlin, the guide; Merlin, the lover… so many facets that we are going to embody in order to recognize what operates within us.

Les Derniers Trouvères sing Celtic and medieval imagery and thought, in current French, to medieval melodies or composed in the spirit, in order to convey to listeners all the richness and power of these eras in a simple and lively way.
Saturday May 28
9:00 a.m. – Visit by Nicolas Frémaux: “Man in the Garden, the Garden in Man”
Along the way, we will explore Brocéliande, mythical forest, image and reflection of our own unconscious. We will discover there evocations of the gardens of the Middle Ages. Like mandalas, these gardens were arranged according to a precise symbolism, where the omnipresence of the four elements, numbers and geometry, images of perfection, if not of perfection, recalled like ancestral memories, the place of Man in the universe. Like a link beyond space and time, like a veritable Emerald Table, the medieval garden reflects and illustrates the nostalgia for a paradise to be found and implemented here below.
2:00 p.m. – Conference-workshop by Marie-Claire Dolghin-Loyer: “The initiatory journeys of Perceval, or how to leave home to find yourself and discover the unknowable.”
Tales, like traditional tales and novels, depict heroes who leave the safety of their environment for a quest, adventures, discoveries, the meaning of which turns out to be “initiatory”. The term speaks to us of a beginning. Above all, it is necessary to understand the end of a previous course in order to open a new one and discover there strengths and resources for the unfolding of the new life which is offered to the subject. With what weapons, what knowledge can he approach what the future may offer him, if he is able to face it? To live is at any time to leave a bygone past to approach the unknown of the future. This is not without its challenges. The abandonment of old securities, the anguish and disarray of the unknown of the first steps. You have to endure wanderings and meet on the way the helpers you have to know how to listen to. The advice you need to know how to apply. The answers, the remedies, the treasures that you have to know how to discover and appreciate at their true value. Mysteries that confront the inconceivable and uncertainty. As Jung says, the initiatory path is ancient and timeless and the process of individuation is a path.

In the Welsh language, Merlin is called Myrddin who has a twin sister Gwendydd. In the quest for the Grail, Merlin is bewitched by Viviane (projection of the soul mate). He falls in love with Viviane, the fairy of the waves… Merlin (Mercury, the trikster, the two-faced genius), this man of the woods, this magician, this prophet falls under the influence of Viviane (his female alter ego – anima). He gives her all his secrets. She locks him up according to the legends in a castle, in a cave… It is the story of the castle that I take up, in its reality the Castle of Comper in the forest of Brocéliande, which is reflected in the lake of Viviane, the Lady at the lake…. This intervention (or even article) supported by Jungian concepts… Anima-Animus…
