Perennialism Workshop with Dana Sawyer
In this workshop, Sawyer describes the perennial philosophy as a family of theories surrounding a specific type of mystical experience that Aldous Huxley termed the "unitive knowledge." Have you ever had an experience that felt like you had become one with all reality or somehow had spiritually merged with nature? Have you ever sensed that everything in the universe is not only profoundly interconnected but somehow a Oneness that you too are part of? Sawyer will offer several views regarding the profound value of such experiences from the perspective of the perennial philosophy, while also providing an opportunity for workshop members to share their own unitive experiences and discuss them in small groups.
