It is difficult to measure the importance of paths, fields, crossroads, journeys, and destinations upon our personal and collective lives. Whether we imagine ourselves taking the road less traveled, finding one’s beloved in the field beyond all duality, or standing at the crossroads that bring to us the threshold of change, the end of our journey is written into the script of our place and circumstance: where we are, where we are going, and what happens once we arrive. Decades ago, TS Eliot’s Four Quartets became a roadmap for my own personal journey. As such, my life has a become- and continues to be – a pilgrimage of finding my way home to a place I never really left.
