What If C.G. Jung Were Alive Today?

The insights of C.G. Jung remain profoundly relevant today, offering a critical lens through which we can understand the collective madness unfolding in our world. Jung repeatedly warned that the greatest threat to humanity lies within—our unexplored psyche, which manifests as psychic epidemics. We are currently living through what the Native Americans call wetiko, a mind-virus that Jung, in his own language, described as totalitarian psychosis. This widespread psychological affliction, he argued, is forcing us to confront the unconscious forces shaping our reality.

In this virtual presentation, Paul Levy, a pioneer in the field of spiritual emergence and the author of six books, including The Quantum Revelation: Awakening to the Dreamlike Nature of Reality (Inner Traditions, 2024), explores how Jung’s work can help us navigate this moment in history. Levy will discuss Jung’s perspective on the dreamlike nature of reality, the dangers of dissociation and polarization, and how reclaiming our creative power is essential in confronting the shadow within and without.
