Exploring Healing Through Jungian Insights

XIII Conference of the Ukrainian Developing Group, 28-29 June

The XIII Conference of the Ukrainian Developing Group of the International Association of Analytical Psychology (UDG IAAP) is happening next weekend on June 28-29, 2025. Titled The Spirit of the Times and the Spirit of the Depths: From Suffering to Healing, this conference will explore the interplay between conscious daily life and the unconscious depths. The conference seeks to illuminate how embracing deep psychological processes can foster personal and collective transformation.

The UDG began as the Kyiv Development Group (KDG) in 2004. Supported by the IAAP, the group included members from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and Moldova, reflecting a diverse regional collaboration. Over time, it evolved into the UDG, focusing on training and professional development for Ukrainian psychotherapists, physicians, educators, and others interested in analytical psychology.

Despite challenges, including the impact of war since 2022, the UDG has remained active, hosting online conferences and offering free training to support members during crises. Notable milestones include the transition of some members to the Ukrainian Jungian Association (UJA), which gained IAAP Group Member status in 2019 and Training Community status in 2022, marking a significant step in building a sustainable Jungian community in Ukraine.
