In December 2023 the International Association of Jungian Studies hosted an online conference, titled Arts-Based Research Between Two Seas: Jung and the Islamic World. It featured a range of presentations exploring the intersections between Jungian psychology and Islamic thought. The full video presentations have now been released and are available on the IAJS YouTube channel.
Keynote speaker Dr. Susan Rowland delivered the C.G. Jung Memorial Keynote Address. Topics included the exploration of figures such as Philemon and Sophia in the context of individuation, as well as the significance of divine love in both Sufism and Jungian psychology. Other presentations examined Islamic psychology, the subtle body, and interpretations of sacred texts. You can click below to visit the library of presentations.
