Pilar Amezaga Leads New IAAP Administration as Organization Grows to 81 Societies

Results of the election at the meeting of delegates 2025

The International Association for Analytical Psychology has completed its triennial leadership elections during the Meeting of Delegates held in Zurich. The democratic selection process has established a new administration to serve the global Jungian community for the 2025-2028 term.
The newly elected Officers include Pilar Amezaga as President, Gražina Gudaitė as President-Elect, Brockton Hill and Fred Borchardt as Vice-Presidents, and Monica Luci as Honorary Secretary. The administration held its first meeting on August 28 to distribute responsibilities and begin planning initiatives for the coming term.
The Executive Committee brings together nine representatives from IAAP member organizations: Anne Theissen (DGAP Representative, Ludwigshafen, Germany); Caterina Vezzoli (CIPA Representative, Milano, Italy); Javiera Falcone (SCPA Representative, Puerto Varas, Chile); Peter Demuth (CSJA Representative, Evanston, USA); Stephen Garratt (AJA Representative, Koh Kood, Thailand); Susanna Wright (SAP Representative, Kendal, United Kingdom); Yasuhiro Tanaka (AJAJ Representative, Kyoto, Japan); Pavel Zach (CIAP Representative, Nymburk, Czech Republic); and Katherine Olivetti (CGJISF Representative, San Rafael, USA).
The Meeting of Delegates also welcomed 13 new Group Members, bringing the IAAP’s membership to 81 societies worldwide. This continued growth reflects the organization’s expanding reach across diverse geographical regions.
The new leadership will guide IAAP operations and initiatives throughout the three-year term, working to advance the organization’s mission within the international analytical psychology community.
