The Future World series, curated by Dr. Àlex Gómez-Marín, is a conversation series tackling pressing global issues through deep reflection. On May 21, 2025, Jungian scholar Rebecca Tarnas, PhD will be in the metaphorical interviewee chair. Tarnas, an Assistant Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies, brings her expertise in depth psychology and archetypal studies to explore consciousness and the ecological imagination. She is known for her work on C.G. Jung and J.R.R. Tolkien’s Red Books, and her book Journey to the Imaginal Realm. Currently, she is crafting a biography of Stanislav Grof.
In this dialogue with Gómez-Marín, Tarnas will likely weave her research into the human psyche’s role in shaping a sustainable future, building on the series’ past focus on science, humanity, and mind. The event is free to attend and recordings will be made available. You can register below.
