The Journal of Analytical Psychology invites psychotherapeutic practitioners to an interactive online event on Saturday, February 15, 2025, featuring Dr. Niccolò Fiorentino Polipo. Dr. Polipo will present his paper, The Love Problem of a Student—Revisited: A Psycho-Ethical Map for Cases of Anima Projection, originally published in the 2024 volume of the JAP. This event is part of an ongoing series where authors share their work and engage in discussion with participants.
Dr. Polipo’s paper addresses the psychological and ethical dimensions of anima projections, framing them as pivotal to personal development. He outlines a psycho-ethical “map” that identifies four pathways individuals may take when confronted with such projections: the “concretistic-literal,” “fearful-avoidant,” “rational-depressive,” and “transitional-developmental” solutions. Highlighting the latter as the most conducive to optimal psychic growth, Dr. Polipo extends the applicability of his model beyond young men to encompass diverse relational dynamics across age, gender, and orientation.
This event is free, however registration is required and can be completed through the SAP website. You can access Dr Pilipo’s paper here for free.
