The Canadian Association for Sandplay Therapy (CAST) promotes the development of Sandplay Therapy, an experiential and creative psychotherapeutic approach for clients of any age. Our internationally accredited therapists and qualified training interns offer Sandplay Therapy throughout Canada. Our faculty provides training in several provinces, and outreach to other locations or to specific agencies. ​In addition, our nationally recognized practitioners integrate sandplay into their workplaces.

CAST’s training programmes in both English and French lead to certification with the International Society for Sandplay Therapy (ISST), or to national recognition as a practitioner with CAST. The organization also holds national conferences, meetings and seminars.

CAST is not a regulatory body. Certification by CAST/ISST or any independent practice of Sandplay Therapy, requires that professionals adhere to regulations regarding the practice of psychotherapy in their jurisdiction.
