Newsletter 4 October 2024

Welcome to the weekend and to this edition of the Jungian.Directory newsletter, bringing you the latest in Jungian news, events, courses, conferences, and books. Thank you for subscribing and we hope you enjoy this week’s offerings.

This week we feature a collection of events on topics like the Archetype of Odin, Jungian Arts-Based Research, the poetry of Pessoa, and The Great Mother. All of these events can be attended online.

We also feature two new books set to be published in the near future. War as Reset: Insights from Contemporary Analytical Psychology on the Age of Hypocrisy will be published by Routledge next year and Touched by Suicide: A Personal and Psychological Perspective on the Longing for Death and Rebirth is on the ‘Coming Soon’ list from Chiron Publications.

We also feature two conferences happening this month, as well as two courses that are set to start next week.

Scroll down to the very bottom of this email to see which three YouTube videos we’ve chosen for this week. The first in an interview with Ken James, touching on a multitude of subjects. In the second, Susan Schwartz ponders the uses and hindrances of diagnosis in psychology. In the third, the work of Jung and Rudolf Steiner is examined by Andrew Camargo.
