Book Giveaway: A Neo-Jungian Exploration of Israeli Society

The Power of Cultural Complexes in Israel

The new Jungian book imprint Jungianeum, the brainchild of Stefano Carpani, is celebrating the publication of their latest volume by Israeli Jungian analyst Elen Lakh titled The Power of Cultural Complexes in Israel.

This timely volume, born out of the October 7th catastrophe and its tragic aftermath, brings a Jungian perspective to the ongoing, intractable, tragedy of victimology and anguish in the historic land between the Jordan river and the Mediterranean sea that is both Israel and Palestine.

Lakh’s work moves beyond simplified narratives to address these complexities through the lens of depth psychology, to explore the cultural and social complexes at play, and shining a light on the shadow aspects and archetypes activated. The author’s hope is that this book will offer insight into the psychological dimensions of trauma, conflict, and the transformative potential for change.

To mark the release of this volume Jungianeum is offering a free digital copy of the book to one reader of this newsletter. For a chance to be sent this free copy, simply reply to this newsletter.
