La Sincronicidad es una de las últimas formulaciones teóricas de Carl Jung. Basada en la coocurrencia de un evento físico y un evento psicológico enlazados ambos por un SIGNIFICADO. La teorización surgió de la colaboración y amistad con uno de los padres de la física cuántica, W. Pauli, físico descubridor del principio de exclusión (por el que le otorgarían el premio Nobel de Física), la existencia del neutrino y pieza clave en la formulación del principio de Incertidumbre de Heisenberg. Otorgándole estatus ontológico a la no-causalidad, Jung y Pauli otorgaron una hipótesis novedosa la ocurrencia de fenómenos parapsicológicos y, no solo eso, sino que le permitió formular una teoría omniabarcadora de la realidad psicofísica. La formulación definitiva del Arquetipo como Psicoide daba lugar a tal riqueza conceptual que, aunque desarrollada parcialmente por su discípula Marie-Louise Von Franz, ni siquiera ha empezado a dar sus primeros frutos. Prueba de ello es el reciente descubrimiento del «entrelazamiento cuántico» a nivel macroscópico. La entrada del factor «Psique» en la física académica sigue siendo el drama que sigue vigente hoy por hoy y que obstaculiza una comprensión más profunda de la realidad, que es precisamente lo que Jung previó hace más de 70 años.

Synchronicity is one of Carl Jung’s latest theoretical formulations. Based on the co-occurrence of a physical event and a psychological event both linked by a MEANING. The theory arose from the collaboration and friendship with one of the fathers of quantum physics, W. Pauli, a physicist who discovered the exclusion principle (for which he would be awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics), the existence of the neutrino and a key player in the formulation of the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. Granting ontological status to non-causality, Jung and Pauli gave a novel hypothesis to the occurrence of parapsychological phenomena and, not only that, but also allowed them to formulate an all-encompassing theory of psychophysical reality.
