She holds tertiary degrees in Humanities, Asian Studies, Music Education, Musicology, Psychotherapy, Analytical Psychology and has a doctorate in Psychology. She has published widely as well as giving papers, lectures and workshops to professional societies, universities and cultural institutions in Australia, USA, and in Europe including the Society of Psychoanalytical Marital Psychotherapists at the Tavistock Centre London; The International Family Therapy Association, Turkey, The Journal of Analytical Psychology, Oxford, and Orta, Italty, C. G. Jung Societies, ANZSJA and ANZAP. She has on the editorial board of the Journal of Analytical Psychology.
