Laurie uses Jungian analysis techniques that C. G. Jung developed from Freud’s ideas of psychoanalysis. It is what contemporary Freudian psychoanalysts have often adopted using different language, that is, analysis of the personal and collective levels of the unconscious incorporating awareness of the Self.  Laurie is a senior analyst member of the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts (OAJA), the Independent Group of Analytical Psychologists (IGAP), the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). In addition, he is a member of EMDR Canada and a Full Member of EMDRIA.
