“This four-week course on Homer’s Odyssey will look at the epic as an individuation journey. Some people see Odysseus particularly as a man’s journey of Individuation. Accompanying me some of the time will be Dr. Harmar Brereton, who teaches The Odyssey to physicians-in-training, specifically looking at a man’s individuation. I will approach it as a human journey. I suggest that we all use Robert Fagles’ translation.”
