Sandplay is a non–verbal three–dimensional form of psychotherapy used with children and adults. There are different theoretical methods of working with sand and miniatures. Dora Kalff created this method. In this non–directive treatment, the key to sandplay is that the unconscious is invited to direct the process allowing the psyche to be restructured and healing to take place.
This program is designed to give the basics of sandplay and how to begin with your clients. Topics include history and origins of sandplay, Kalffian theory, basic Jungian terminology, practical considerations such as setting up, note taking, pictures, introducing sandplay and talking about the benefits of Sandplay with clients.
