The C.G. Jung Institut Zürich opens its doors to the global analytical psychology community this June and July with an extensive series of public lectures offered in hybrid format. Running from June 15 through early July 2026, the program features over 40 sessions led by distinguished analysts, scholars, and clinicians, with most lectures accessible both in-person and online.
The series launches June 15 with core analytical psychology concepts. Stefano Carpani presents three lectures exploring Transference & Countertransference (June 15), The Father” (June 16), and Healing and Integrity (June 17). Pater Otto Betler, a monk with specialised training, offers two presentations on Complexes (June 16 and 19), providing historical and practical perspectives on complex theory.
Several lectures engage pressing contemporary issues through analytical lenses. Alessandra di Montezemolo examines “How Can Deceit, Lies and Ongoing Fake News Be Convincing for So Many People?” (June 18), addressing misinformation’s psychological mechanisms. Allan Guggenbühl provocatively asks “Did Porno Kill Eros?” (June 24) and presents “Surviving Adolescence” (June 19) and “Tricksters, Heroes and Princesses: A Jungian View on Childhood” (July 1). Renate Daniel offers two timely lectures: “Jung’s Relevance for Today” and “Times Are Changing – Rupture in the West” (both June 26), examining analytical psychology’s capacity to address cultural transformation and Western civilization’s current tensions.
The program includes focused clinical presentations addressing specific populations and disorders. Marianne Meister-Notter presents “Dreams from Children and Adolescents” (June 29), while Andrei Tudor Chiriac explores “The Borderline Personality from Psychiatry to Analytical Perspectives” (June 22). Peter Mai addresses “Somatoform-Psychosomatic Disorders” (June 26) and “On the Therapeutic Use of Images and Their Interpretations During the Psychotherapeutic Process” (June 22).
Verena Kast, renowned for her work on emotions, presents “Theory of Emotions: Envy” (June 25). Pascal Chauvie, explores consciousness boundaries in “At the Edge of Consciousness: A Jungian Investigation in the Light of Contemporary Theories of Mind” (June 18). Claudio Mele, Diploma CGJIZ presents “The C.G. Jung Picture Archive” (June 30) and “Interpreting the Crisis of Contemporary Society in a Jungian Perspective” (July 2).
